Exercise Physiology


We provide one-on-one exercise physiology sessions addressing individual needs through exercise prescription. Conditions treated can include musculoskeletal, cardiac and metabolic, and neurological. Conditions can also be present for a sustained period or newly diagnosed.

Our sessions can be funded through Medicare (Enhanced Primary Careplan – EPC), TAC, DVA, WorkSafe, NDIS, and private health insurance.

Type 2 Diabetes Group


This service comprises of an initial assessment with an Exercise Physiologist investigating current health status, any contributing co- morbidities and current physical activity levels. The assessment also provides an opportunity for goal setting. Following the assessment, a client is entitled to 8 group sessions once per week with an individualised exercise plan which is monitored and progressed by an Exercise Physiologist.

The program is fully funded under Medicare (group sessions referral for Type 2 Diabetes)

Heart Smart Class

A class designed for those who have previous had a heart or lung condition or for those who have previously completed cardiac or pulmonary rehabilitation at an external outpatient group. An initial assessment is required before commencing exercise classes. Weekly classes are available with individualised programming.


Initial Assessment: Require an enhanced primary care plan for 1 session for Exercise Physiology, weekly class $8.00.

Clinical Groups


These groups are designed for those who have previously completed Exercise Physiology under billable schemes and are interested in continuing with an exercise program that is supervised by an Exercise Physiologist and be progressed where needed.

Package Details: $165 for 10 sessions, or alternatively can use private health insurance. Group currently runs once a week in the evening.
